Tom Clarke is a full time Irish teacher full time with over 6 years experience in preparing students for state exams having also served as an examiner on the SEC for both Leaving Certificate orals and written exams.
With his extensive in experience in the teaching and preparation for Junior and Leaving Cert students, having worked in a variety of schools around south and north Dublin, his experience on the exam panels gives him key insights into the stringent requirements of the Leaving Cert Irish exams that will help the students of this course.
Tom’s insight into the challenges of the Leaving Cert oral for non-native speakers also harks back to his own time as a Leaving Cert student in a non-Irish speaking school, and thus he firmly understands the position of students preparing for the Irish oral who don’t attend an all-Irish speaking school, but who still aim to maximise their marks in their final exams.
A graduate from UCD with a degree in Irish, Tom has spent many summers in Connemara as a teacher in various colaistí gaeilge.
Tom is a very personable and attentive teacher and students love his teaching style which inevitably encourages them to achieve their maximum potential.
